One day I was going to let the dogs out and there were 2 Mallards in the pond -- a male and a female. They visited on a regular basis nearly every day. After a week or two they started arriving just before dark, spent the night and then take off a little before sunrise. That lasted for a couple weeks. I took these pictures in April 2005.
